U11.5 Girls travel to Belleek for Blitz!

The girls where out Saturday morning for the finish of the Belleek games.

It was lovely morning for football, the conditions were brilliant and the football didn’t disappoint.

The games came thick and fast, against Derrygonnelly, Donagh, Lisnaskea and Irvinestown. It took the team a few minutes to get going in the first game. Though when Poppy Rogers & Eimear Gunn nullified the Derrygonnelly attack the girls sprang into action and used the ball and shot well. Continuing the great work from the first game Evanna McCreesh came into the game working tirelessly always making herself available along with Blaithin Cox doing great in goals making great use of her kick outs. Juliet Myjak was beginning to find her feet in the forward line punishing mistakes in the Donagh defence. The defence was under pressure in the Lisnaskea game Clodagh Devine and Poppy Rogers sweeping up defence and quickly turning it into attack with Eíre Nolan starting to show more in the midfield. Kyra Traynor had returned to keeper and with her great kick outs quickly turned defence into attack. Finishing the day the girls started to tire though kept the high work rate and great effort up. There was only one winner on the day and that was Football. 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦

Enniskillen Gaels would like to take this opportunity to Thank Erne Gaels for hosting the great day of football and especially Tommy McCaffrey for organising the event…. Well done
