Following the successful running of the Battle for the Erne Competition in November last year Enniskillen Gaels have donated £1000 to the local RNLI raised from donations made at the gate.
The event which pitted representative teams from North, South, East & West Fermanagh against each other was organised by Enniskillen Gaels. Kindly sponsored by Modern Tyres & Killyhevlin Lakeside Hotel & Lodges, traditional rivalries were put aside and new ones emerged across two nights of action. Games were played in Brewster Park and the event was enjoyed by players and spectators alike.
Presenting the cheque on behalf of the Gaels is Paudie Lunny, pictured with (from left to right) Cillian Creggan, Paul Keown & Seamus McHugh representing the RNLI. No doubt this will be put to good use and aid them in the great work they do.
