Boot Camp 2025

That’s a wrap for our first annual Boot Camp supported by Fermanagh & Omagh policing & community partnership and the Halifax Foundation.

The boot camp was run for the older youth members of the club who are too old for Cúl Camp and the Gaels summer camp. It was an opportunity for them to learn new skills for the future that will also aid their athletic development.

A fun week in the sun introduced the kids to Pilates, Yoga, strength and conditioning basics, running technique and nutrition.

The kids were also given drink & drugs awareness information from our local PSNI officers  Gareth Mohan and Julian Carters as well as trying out the beer goggles which led to plenty of giggles!  (there is no truth in the rumours that Richie was actually better at shooting with the goggles on!)

All this with a bit of Football, Hurling and Basketball thrown-in.

We would like to thank our sponsors Fermanagh & Omagh Policing & Community Partnership and the Halifax Foundation for their generous support. Many thanks to  Richie O’Callaghan, Amie-Leigh Harvey, Sean Treacy, Leon Carters, Conor Love, Mark Hoy, Niamh Carty, Kate McManus, Hannah Ewing and Caolan Duffy for all the activities.

The kids were all great and the feedback has been very positive so we hope to build on this success in the future.
