Another week of weather disruptions but still a couple of teams managed to get football, albeit in wet and muddy conditions!
Under 8.5 Boys Football
Our P4 group had challenge matches against Teemore on Sunday. We had a great turnout with 17 players split into two 7-a-side teams followed by an 11-a-side game to finish with. Both teams were excellent and well matched against the Teemore boys & girls. We look forward to repaying Teemore’s hospitality in the near future and inviting them to Brewster Park.
Under 11.5 Boys Football
Both p6 teams played in Derrygonnelly on Friday evening narrowly losing in both games. The loss and the bad weather didn’t dampen the spirits though!
Girls U11 Football
The young Gaels played against Maguiresbridge on Saturday. The terrible conditions didn’t dampen their spirits. A great effort from all the girls involved, some who have only recently joined the club. Some superb skills were on show and the future is looking bright!
