A quiet week with a few postponements due to the weather
Under 11.5 Boys
Both P6 teams played this week. Saturday saw Teemore visit us in a game played on the Mount Lourdes pitch. Teemore proved to be too strong for our boys but both teams enjoyed a great game. Many thanks to Mount Lourdes for allowing us to use their facilities. The Sunday P6 team had better fortune as they beat Irvinestown 2-8 to 1-2 at St. Michael’s Cherrymount.
Sunday Morning Football
Our Sunday morning football came to an end after 8 weeks. We have been absolutely blessed with the weather over these weeks. Starting on a very frosty February morning which saw 170 kids turn out across the 3 sessions it has been incredible to see the numbers. Thanks to Focus Fitness and to Jack’s Coffee Stop for providing the parents workout and refreshments. Thanks also to all the coaches who gave up their Sunday morning lie-in’s to take the sessions and thank you to all the parents and children for turning out every week!
Special Visitor
This Sunday saw a special visitor for the P1-P3 group, the Easter bunny turned up to share a few treats and also showed off a few silky skills! There will be a few weeks off now before we move to Friday night football back in Brewster Park from 6pm on 21st April!
