Congratulations to our minors who booked their place in the semi-final of the St. Paul’s Ulster Minor Club Championship on Saturday with a 2-12 to 0-11 win over Cavan champions Crosserlough in Belfast. Substitute Gavin Greene bagged both the goals for the Gaels in the second half of the game. Next up is a semi-final encounter against the winners of this weekend’s quarter-final between Antrim’s Dunloy and Down champions Burren. This tie will be played on Sunday December 18.

The Annual Youth prizegiving was held last Friday night and the well organised night proved to be a big success which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who attended. A special thank you to county players Barry Mulrone and Paddy Reihill who presented the prizes on the night.

The club will hold its Annual General Meeting in the clubhouse on Sunday December 11.

Lines for the Christmas draw are now available in the clubhouse.

Santa will be coming to our Kids Christmas Party in the clubhouse this Saturday December 10 at 4pm. Please confirm your place in advance by contacting the Youth Committee on 07867 411421.

Ulster GAA are holding an indoor workshop on Tackling at St. Michael’s College on Wednesday December 7 at 7.30pm.

The club would like to offer our condolences to the Brennan and Garrity families on the death of Patricia Garrity.

The lotto numbers for last week were 3, 19, 23, 24. There was no outright winner. The three £20 consolation winners were Val Tummon, Martin Rooney and Anita Kehoe. The jackpot now sits at £10,000. Don’t forget, you can play the club lotto online at
